Ratio of absent to present =5/35
Total children =80
Let absent =A
Present=B
A/B=1/7
A+B=80
Put the value of A=80-B
(80-B)/B =1/7
(80/B)-1 =1/7
80/B =1/7 + 1
=8/7
B=(80*7)/8
=70
Put values in total strength
A+B=80
Put B=70
There fore A=80-70
=10
Total present student =70
Total absent of students =10
