Since, the two triangles are congruent they overlap each other or in other words, they have the same area.
So, the ratio is 1 : 1.

This is given in question as xy. So, x = 1 and y = 1. Don't misintrepret that xy=11 always implies x = 1 and y = 1 but imples in the case of simple ratio.
