If the ratio of mean and median of a certain data 2 : 3, then find the ration of its mode and mean.

We know that mode = 3 median - 2 mean

and $\frac{mean}{median}=\frac{2}{3}\Rightarrow Median=\frac{3}{2}$ mean

$\therefore$ Mode $=3\times \frac{3}{2}$ mean -2 mean =$(\frac{9}{2}-2)$ mean $=\frac{5}{2}$mean

$\therefore \frac{Mode}{Mean}=\frac{5}{2}$

$\therefore$ Ratio in mode and mean = 5 : 2
