If the ratio of mode and median of a certain data is 6:5, then find the ratio of its mean and median.

We know that, Mode =3 Median - 2 Mean .........(i)

and $\frac{Mode}{Median}$$=\frac{6}{5}$

$\Rightarrow$ Mode$=\frac{6}{5}$Median

$\therefore$ From (i), $\frac{6}{5}$ Median = 3 Median -2 Mean

$\Rightarrow$ 2 Mean = 3 Median $-\frac{6}{5}$ Median $=\frac{9}{5}$ Median

$\frac{Mean}{Median}=\frac{9}{5\times 2}=\frac{9}{10}$

$\therefore$ Ratio = 9 : 10
