If the school bags of Rohan and Ayushi weigh 4.7kgand 3.568kgrespectively, find:

Given, the weight of Rohan's bag =4.7kg

The weight of Ayushi's bag =3.568kg

Here the decimals 4.7and 3.568 are unlike decimals, because 4.7has 1 number at the decimal place and 3.568 has 3 numbers at the decimal place.

4.7=4.700

Now, 4.700 and 3.568are like decimals.

Step 2. Adding the weights of two bags:

Sum of the weights of two bags = Weight of Rohan's bag + Weight of Ayushi's bag

=4.700+3.568

=8.268kg

Hence, the sum of weights of the school bags of Rohan and Ayushi is 8.268kg.
