Question
If the side of an open cubical box is 3.25 cm,how many litres of air does it contain?
Open in App
Solution
The litres of air present in cubical box will be equal to volume of cubical box
we know volume of cubical box = Side³
Given Side = 3.25 cm
So volume = Side³ = 3.25³ cm³
Volume = 3.25 * 3.25 * 3.25 cm³
Volume = 34.3281 cm³
We know 1 litre = 1000 cm³
1000 cm³ = 1 litre
1 cm³ = 1/1000 litre
34.3281 cm³ = 34.3281/1000 = .0343 litre
Volume of air in open cubical box equal to .0343 litre
