Solution

Dear Student,

let smaller no. be 's' and larger no. be 'l'According to question,If 3ls is performed 4 as a quotient and 3 as remainder is obtained3l=4s+33l-4s=3........................1Also,If 7sl is performed 5 as a quotient and 1 as remainder is obtained7s=5l+1-5l+7s=1........................2multiplying 1 by 5 and 2 by 3 and adding5(3l-4s)+3(-5l+7s)=(3×5)+(1×3)15l-20s-15l+21s=15+3s=18putting s=18 in 13l=3+(4×18)l=3+723l=753l=25So, larger no. is 25 and smaller no. is 18
