Given, surface area of the sphere = 256π

We know that the surface area of a sphere = 4πr2
So, 4πr2=256π
r2=2564
r2=64
r=64=8 cm
Therefore, radius of the sphere = 8 cm

Now, volume of the sphere is
= 43πr3
= 43×π×(8)3
= 4×5123π
= 20483π
= 682.66π cm3
