The correct option is A 21
Let the three numbers in A.P. be ad,a,a+d.
By the problem
(ad)+a+(a+c)=3
or, 3a=3
or, a=1........(1).
Again given (ad).a.(a+d)=8
or, a.(a2d2)=8
or, 1d2=8 [Using value of a]
or, d2=9......(2).
Now (ad)2+a2+(a+d)2
=2(a2+d2)+a2
=2(1+9)+1 [Using (1) and (2)]
=21.
