If the sum of two consecutive numbers is 43 , find these two numbers.

Suppose, the first number is x
The second consecutive number is x+1
the total of these consecutive number x+(x+1)is 43
x+(x+1)=43
2x+1=43
2x=431
2x=42
x=422
x=21
Therefore, the number is 21. and the second consecutive number x+1=21+1=22
