Open in App
Solution

Determine the required angle.

As we know that, Complementary angles are two angles whose sum is 90° (a right angle).

The Supplementary angles are two angles whose sum is 180 degrees.

Let the angle be x.

Its supplement is 180-x.

Its complement is 90-x.

So,

180-x=4×90-x

180-x=360-4x

x=1803

x=60°

Hence, If the supplement of an angle is 4 times of its compliment, then the measure of the angle is 60°.
