The thickness of a pile of 12 cardboard sheets =45 mm
$\therefore$ The thickness of a pile of 1 cardboard sheet =$\frac{45}{12}$mm
So, the thickness of a pile of 240 cardboard sheets =$\frac{45}{12}\times 240mm=45\times 20=900mm$
$=\frac{900}{100}cm=90cm[\because 1mm=\frac{1}{10}cm]$
