The correct option is B 12n+1
Let the first term of an H.P. be 1a and the common difference of the denominators be d, then
3rd term of an H.P. is 1a+2d=17
a+2d=7 ...(1)
Similarly, 7th term is 1a+6d=115
a+6d=15 ...(2)
Subtracting (1) from (2), we get
a=3,d=2
The nth of this H.P. is
1a+(n1)d=13+(n1)×2=12n+1
