For the angle x in a right angled $△$ , sinx is defined as

$\frac{o p p o s i t e s i d e}{H y p o t e n u s e}$ . Similarly sec x = $\frac{H y p o t e n u s e}{o p p o s i t e}$ = $\frac{1}{c o s x}$

tanx = $\frac{o p p o s i t e}{A d j a c e n t}$

From this $△$ , we get

sinx = $\frac{5}{13}$

secx = $\frac{13}{12}$

tanx = $\frac{5}{12}$

$\Rightarrow$ sinx + secx + tanx = $\frac{5}{13}$ + $\frac{13}{12}$ + $\frac{5}{12}$

$\Rightarrow$ a = $\frac{294}{156}$

$\Rightarrow$ 156 a = 294
