Suppose,
m=kcxgypz---(i)[M1L0T0]=[LT-1]x[M0L1T-2]y[M1L-1T-2]z[M1L0T0]=MzLx+y-zT-x-2y-2zApplying the principle of homogeneity of dimensions,z=1x+y-z=0-x-2y-2z=0So,x+y=1-x-2y=2On solving,-y=3 or y=-3and x=1-(-3)=4Putting these values in (i), we getm=kc4g-3p1or m=kpc4g3Taking k=1 m=pc4g3m=105Nm-2×(3×108ms-2)4[10ms-2]3=105×81×1032103=8.1×1031 kg
