Solution

By using the relationship between the zeroes of the cubic ploynomial.
We have, Sum of zeroes = -coefficient of x2coefficent of x3
a-b+a+a+b=--313a=3a=1

Now, Product of zeros = -constant termcoefficent of x3
a-baa+b=-111-b11+b=-1 a=11-b2=-1b2=2b=±2
