If there are more significant figures in my result, can I assume that my result is both more precise and more accurate?

Significant numbers are number of digits used to express a measured or calculated quantity.
If we express a number beyond the place to which we have actually measured, then the number is more precise which means that how closely individual measurements agree with one another.
Accuracy refers to how closely the measurements agree with the true value.if the measured number agree with the true value, then our value is accurate also.
