Two bags contain cotton and sugar,

Density of cotton= 20kg/m3

Mass of sugar=30kg

Density is defined as amount of mass of an object per unit volume , it also describes heaviness or lightness of an object.

Densityofcotton=massofcottonvolumeofbagmassofcotton=volumeofbag×densityofcotton=2×20massofcotton=40kg

Given mass of sugar bag=30kg

Thus by comparing mass of sugar and cotton bag, we can say that the cotton bag is heavier.
