Solution

After menopause there is a lack of estrogen and bone resorption limits the building of new bones. Other factors such as early menopause, prolonged periods, absence or infrequent periods causes loss of bone mass, resulting in a condition known as osteoporosis (a condition in which bones weaken and there is sudden and unexpected fractures).
