If there is no flow of current in the circuit, which can be the suitable reason from the following?
Broken wire in the circuit
Molten fuse wire
An open circuit is one where the continuity has been broken by an interruption in the path for electrons to flow. This will happen if the wire is snapped somewhere in between or the fuse at the main circuit board is fused or melted. It will not allow the current to complete the circuit. This is also known as an open circuit i.e. no flow of current in the circuit.
