Consider the given equations.
$k x - 5 y = 2$ $. . . . . . . (1)$
$6 x + 2 y = 7$ $. . . . . . . . (2)$

Since, these equations have no solution.
$\frac{a_{1}}{b_{1}} = \frac{a_{2}}{b_{2}}$

Therefore,
$\frac{k}{- 5} = \frac{6}{2}$
$\frac{k}{- 5} = 3$
$k = - 15$

Hence, this is the answer.
