Solution

Loamy soil is a mixture of sand, slit and clay. It is a nutrient rich soil with high moisture and humus thus ideal for agriculture purposes. Sand is coarse and loose and so it is considered good for drainage. But it is not good for growing plants as sandy soil will not hold water or nutrients. Therefore, if their would be no sand in loamy soil it will not affect plants growth.
