If tides occurs in sea and ocean then why it do not occur in lake or pond??

Tides also occur in ponds and lakes but they are at very small level , so they can't be noticeable.Generation of tides are at high level in sea and oceans, therefore they are very much noticeable.Tide is caused due to the gravitational force exerted by moon and sun.
