Question

If two angles of a quadrilateral are 40 and 110 and the other two are in the ratio 3:4, find these angles.

Open in App
Solution

We know that,
Sum of all four angles of a quadrilateral = 360o
Sum of two given angles = 40o+110o=150o
So, the sum of remaining two angles = 360o150o=210o
Also given,
Ratio of these angles = 3:4
Hence,
Third angles = 33+4×210o = 37×210o = 90o
And,
Fourth angle = 43+4×210o = 47×210o = 120o
