Solution

  1. There are two types of charges - positive charge and negative charge
  2. When charges are of the same nature they repel each other.

For example- A positive-positive charge will repel each other and a negative-negative charge will repel each other.

  1. When charges are of a different nature they attract each other.

For example- A positive-negative charge or negative-positive charge will attract each other.

Hence, If two charged bodies attract each other, the nature of charges present on them could be different i.e., positive-negative or negative-positive.
