If two chord of a circle are congruent then corresponding arc are equal . Prove this theorem if both arc are major and if it is diameter

If the chords of a circle are both diameters then the corresponding arcs would be two semicircles and each semicircle is half of the circle, as they both belong to the same circle. Thus, they must be equal.
