Solution

The correct option is A 360
Given: Side of the cubes = 6 cm

Two cubes are joined end to end. So, the resultant solid is cuboid.

Length of the cuboid = 6 + 6 = 12 cm
Breadth of the cuboid = 6 cm
Height of the cuboid = 6 cm

Total surface area of the cuboid = 2[lb + bh + hl]
Total surface area of the cuboid = 2[12×6+6×6+6×12]
Total surface area of the cuboid = 2[72 + 36 + 72]
Total surface area of the cuboid = 2[144 + 36]
Total surface area of the cuboid = 2[180] = 360 cm2
