If two points are given in a cordinate plain……then how can we the linear equation for It?

Say the points are $(x_1,y_1)$ and $(x_2,y_2)$
The slope of the line will be = $\frac{(y_2-y_1)}{(x_2-x_1)}$, let this be equal to m
Hence, the equation of line is given as, $y-y_1=m(x-x_1)$, where $m=\frac{(y_2-y_1)}{(x_2-x_1)}$
