Let the number be $x$.

$\therefore$ $\frac{2}{3}x+\frac{1}{2}x+\frac{1}{7}x+x=37$

$\therefore$ $\frac{28x+21x+7x+42x}{42}=37$

$\therefore$$98x=1554$

$\therefore$ $x=\frac{1554}{98}=16\frac{2}{97}$
