Solution

Concept: 1 Mark
Application: 1 Mark

Let the 2 odd numbers be a and b.

Let b be greater than a.

Any odd number can be represented as a sum of an even and odd number.

Let b = a + x where x is even.

Hence, a + b = a + a + x = 2a + x.

Both 2a and x are divisible by 2 because x is even.

Hence a + b is divisible by 2.
