If we add one teaspoonful of sugar in 100 ml of water, a saturated solution will be formed.

Take 100 ml of water in a beaker. Add sugar. Stir till it is dissolved. Repeat it till little amount of it is left at the bottom of the beaker which will not dissolve. This is the saturated solution of sugar in cold water.
