The given pattern is 4, 8, 12, 16, …

1^st number = 4 = 1 × 4

2^nd number = 8 = 2 × 4

3^rd number = 12 = 3 × 4

4^th number = 16 = 4 × 4

Let the n^th number of the given pattern be 100.

∴ n^th number = n × 4 = 4n = 100

⇒ n =

∴ 25^th number of the given pattern is 100.
