If we drop three watermelons weighing 2 kg, 4 kg and 6 kg respectively from the same height and at the same time, which one of it will reach the ground first? (Given: negligible air resistance)

If G is universal gravitational constant and Me is the mass of earth and Re is the radius of earth then acceleration due to gravity g would be:
g=G MeR2e
So, the acceleration due to gravity is independent of the mass of the body. Hence, all the bodies will hit the ground at the same time.

Hence option D is correct. [1 Mark]
