If it is weight then the potential energy should be equal to

Weight*height...where height is 6m

2.5kg*6m

if it says weighs then it is mass.
if it says weight then it is mg ,the force with which gravitation attracts it.
notice the difference between weighs and weight.
weighs mean its mass is measured to be 2.5 kg
