If we take the like poles of the two magnets and stick it with untarable tape what will happen will it stick then why we say that like poles repel

Like pole repels , here they don’t attract themselves but they are together by the force applied to it by the tape.

And they dont stick together ,
they stick to the tape .

by doing activities like this , it weakens the magnetic property of the magnets
