If we want to find the area of a square and only the perimeter and length is given. How do we find it.

Area of square = $a\times a$
As you know perimeter which is = 4a ,where a is side of square.
So you can find a, hence by substituting a in formula to find area of square you can find area,
For example if Perimeter of a square is 8
Then each side of square = $\frac{8}{4}=2$
Hence area = $2\times 2=4$ sq. unit
