Yes to find the median for the ungrouped data, we first need to arrange the data in ascending order.Case1: When the number of terms "n" is odd, then there is only one middle termwhich is given by n+12th term.Thus in case when "n" is odd, the median is the observation that appears at n+12th term.Case 2: When the number of terms "n" is even, then there are two middle termswhich are given by n2th term and n2+1th termIn this case, the median is the mean of the above two middle terms.
