W=Area=12PV=12nRΔT=20J
Now the change in internal energy is given as
f2nRΔT(here f is the number of degree of freedom)
For a diatomic gas f=5. Thus we get
ΔU=52nRΔT=100J.=x
The number 100 is a perfect square and it has 9 factors including 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50 and 100.
