Let surface tension on the surface of the soap bubble =T
Total surface area of the soap bubble =2(4πR2)
=8πR2 (As the soap bubble has inner as well as outer surface)
Work done in blowing soap bubble = Surface tension × Charge in area
W=8πR2T(1)
Now when radius becomes 4R,
Work done =8π(4R2)T=16×8πR2T=16W.(Using 1)
