The correct option is D $6$
$x^{2} - 7 x - 30 = 0$
$(x - 10) (x + 3) = 0$
$x = - 3, 10$
Since $x > 0$ , hence $x = 10$
Therefore, $x - 4 = 10 - 4 = 6$
