"Putting $x^{2} = - 2$ in $x^{3} + 5 x^{2} + 10 k$ , we have the remainder $= - 2 x - 10 + 10 k$ .
Also given remainder is $- 2 x$ . Thus $- 2 x = - 2 x - 10 + 10 k ⟹ k = 1$ ."
