The correct option is D $2$
When two quantities are in inverse proportional then,
$\Rightarrow x_{1} \times y_{1} = x_{2} \times y_{2}$
$∴ 3 \times 4 = 6 \times a$
$\Rightarrow a = \frac{3 \times 4}{6}$
$\Rightarrow a = 2$
Hence, the value of $a$ is $2$ .
