x+y = 1/10 + (-3/8)
= 1/10 - 3/8
= (18 - 310) / 810 (Taking LCM)
= (8 - 30) / 80
= -22 / 80
= - 11/40 (Divide numerator and denominator with 2)

x-y = 1/10 - (-3/8)
= 1/10 + 3/8
= (18 + 310) / 810 (Taking LCM)
= (8 + 30) / 80
= 38 / 80
= 19/40 (Divide numerator and denominator with 2)

x multiplied by y = xy
= 1/10 3/8
= 13 / 108
= 3/80
