The correct option is A 32
(x+iy)(23i)=4+i12
2x+2iy3ix+3y=4+i2
2x+3y+i(2y3x)=4+i2
Hence
2x+3y=4 ................................(i)
And
2y3x=12 .............................(ii)
Solving both the equations give us
y=1
x=12
Hence
x+y
=1+12
=32.
