dxdt=cost.....(1) and dydt=pcospt.......(2)
Now (2) ÷ (1) gives

And xdydx=pcospt.sintcost.......(3).
Now d2ydx2
=ddt(dydx).dtdx
=ppcost.sinpt+cost.sintcos3t
Again (1x2)d2dx2=ppcost.sinpt+cospt.sintcost........(4).
Using (3) and (4) we get,
