The correct option is C 14
Given: xy=4..(i)
and 2x+y=14..(ii)
Adding (i) and (ii), we get,
(xy)+2x+y)=4+14
xy+2x+y=18
3x=18
x=6
Now, substituting the value of x in (i), we get,
6y=4
y=64
y=2
Thus, the value of x+4y=6+8=14.

Hence, the correct answer is option (3).
