$\therefore x=k\times y$, where k is constant proportionality
Given.
x = 4, y = 16
$\therefore 4=k\times 16$
$\therefore \frac{4}{16}=k$
$\therefore \frac{1}{4}=k$
$\therefore$ Constant proportionality $=K=\frac{1}{4}$
