So, A∪B= { 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 } And (A∪B)′ will have the elements of ξ which are not in (A∪B) So, (A∪B)′=ξ−(A∪B)= { 1,2 } -- (1) Now, A′=ξ−A= { 1,2,3 } And B′=ξ−A= { 1,2,7,8,9,10 } Intersection of two sets will have the elements common to both sets.
