If ξ = {x : x10, xϵN}, A = {x : x4}, and B = {x : 2<x<7} ; find the number of equal sets.

According to the given sets, we have
ξ= { 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 }
A= { 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 }
B= { 3,4,5,6 }
Union of two sets will have all the elements of both the sets.
So, AB= { 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 }
And (AB) will have the elements of ξ which are not in (AB)
So, (AB)=ξ(AB)= { 1,2 } -- (1)
Now, A=ξA= { 1,2,3 }
And B=ξA= { 1,2,7,8,9,10 }
Intersection of two sets will have the elements common to both sets.
So, AB= { 1,2 } -- (2)
From (1) and (2), we have
(AB)=AB
Also, (AB)= { 4,5,6 }
And (AB)=ξ(AB)= { 1,2,3,7,8,9,10 } -- (1)
AB= { 1,2,3,7,8,9,10 } -- (2)
From (1) and (2), we have
(AB)=AB
