The correct option is A a = 24, b = 20
From the table we observe as x increases, y also increases such that the ratio of x and y remains the same
xy=65
As the fractions are equivalent,

1210=2×62×5=65
If we multiply with 2 on both the numerator and the denomiantor in the fraction 65, we get 1210

1815=3×63×5=65
If we multiply with 3 on both the numerator and the denomiantor in the fraction 65, we get 1815


Similarly, the next number to be multiplied with the fraction 65is 4,
65=4×64×5=2420

Hence, a = 24, b = 20
