Pick up a random object, and create its images in each of them. We can identify the mirrors based on the characteristics of the images formed by them.
1) Plane mirror: In the case of a plane mirror, the images will always be virtual, erect, and of the same size as that of the object.
2) Convex mirror: In the case of a convex mirror, the images will always be virtual, erect, and diminished in spite of the position of the object.
3) Concave mirror: In the case of a concave mirror, the images may be real or virtual, inverted or erect, and magnified or diminished depending upon the position of the object.
